paleBLUEdot: Financial Pro‐Forma Tools & Tariff Education for Community Solar

ETE worked as a subcontractor to paleBLUEdot to provide technical expertise and financial analysis to the 150 community-based groups working to build community solar projects through the Solar In Your Community Challenge grant program. Funding was provided by a DOE grant and groups receiving awards could choose from a variety of solar service providers. ETE’s service offering to the grant recipients was a comprehensive presentation on utility tariff structures that impact the value of solar and a multivariable financial analysis spreadsheet to assist community groups in assessing the financial viability of their community solar business models.
