ETE was hired by Strategic Microgrid to help frame the economics of its PowerParasol® product across a range of C&I tariffs available from the major electric utilities in Arizona. This study included analysis of interval meter data from a retail industry client and expected solar generation from the PowerParasol® to assess the before and after electric costs that would be realized with solar only and solar + storage product configurations. ETE’s deliverable included an interactive spreadsheet model to study financial metrics for a range of solar PV system sizes. Strategic Microgrid was able to use this deliverable to improve their sales targeting, proposed system sizing, and assess the market opportunity in different parts of Arizona.
